This track was titled 'The Saddest Ending' at first. 'The Saddest Ending' was an instrumental track like a requiem. Piano and organ sounds were used for 'The Saddest Ending'. However, Yanagi inspired by Radiohead's 'Motion Picture Soundtrack'. Yanagi added the lyrics and changed the title from 'The Saddest Ending' to 'Bad Ending'. Yanagi excerpted 'I think you are crazy, maybe' from 'Motion Picture Soundtrack'. Also, Yanagi quoted 'wine', 'pills', 'letters', and 'movies' too. Yanagi expresses the madness and obsession after break up. Simultaneously, depicts childish and disgusting emotions. Yanagi tried to sing like Sia for the vocals.
元々は「The Saddest Ending」というタイトルのインストゥルメンタルのレクイエムで、楽器もピアノとオルガンのみの曲であったが、Radioheadの「Motion Picture Soundtrack」からの影響で、アンサーソングのような歌詞を付けた楽曲となっている。「Motion Picture Soundtrack」の「I think you are crazy, maybe」という歌詞を中心に、「wine」、「pills」、「letters」、「movies」などの単語を引用し、歌詞を作成した。別れた後の狂気と歪んだ執着を表現していると同時に、幼稚さと格好悪さも表現している。ボーカルはSiaの歌声を意識しながらレコーディングした。
