4. Welcome Back Home
4:37
'Welcome Back Home' is consisted of piano sounds and vocal only. 'Welcome Back Home' is the most chilled balled track of this album. For this song, Yanagi imagined the day version of 'Cafe Terrace at Night' by Vincent van Gogh, sunset of Arles. The mood of this song was inspired by Paul Buchanan's 'Mid Air'. The piano solo in the last part of this song expresses 'Cafe Terrace at Night'.
Lyrics
I'm just wandering
The street I never been
The sun is falling down
But I'm against the sun
As much I count my steps
Can't see the cobblestones
Like my memories
I cannot breathe
People laugh on street
With their part of life
What am I doing here?
The street lights are on
But my head won't raise up
I don't belong here
My shadow eats up tears
The place I close my eyes
Is only in your arms
I can't fall asleep
I must walk on
When we meet one day
Could you smile and say
Welcome back home?
